The CNSC

The development, operation and construction of nuclear power facilities is subject to regulation and oversight by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (the CNSC).  The CNSC’s mandate is to regulate the use of nuclear energy and materials to protect health, safety, security and the environment.

The NWMO
